Online video and global toolkit | Comvita | The Drop
Comvita UMF Manuka honey is a high-end, natural health food product from New Zealand. We were tasked with telling the story of the brand to an international audience, particularly in China and Hong Kong. We needed to touch on everything that made this special honey unique - its heritage and provenance, purity of its source ingredients, its scientific credentials, as well as the quality assurance and authenticity. Together with Waxeye studio, we created an animation following one pure, precious drop of Comvita Manuka honey from hive to table.
The video was translated with Mandarin subtitles and three 30 second cut-down versions of the video were also created for social media.
The brief also called for a global campaign toolkit with flexible collateral that could be adapted to the needs of very different target audiences around the world, as well as different regulations in each market. Our beautiful, golden drop of honey became a memorable, visual device that could work on many levels - across magazine print ads, point-of-sale posters, wobblers and brochures, trade presenters, blog posts and eDMs.
